Neurological physical therapy helps people with conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. This includes diagnoses like stroke, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, and nerve-related problems. The central nervous system has the amazing ability to change and heal over time — a process called neuroplasticity — and therapy is designed to support that recovery.
Even healthy, active individuals can experience neurological issues. We often work with patients who are recovering from concussions, dealing with dizziness or balance problems, or experiencing nerve-related symptoms. These may include numbness, tingling, weakness, or pain caused by nerve compression, such as carpal tunnel syndrome or irritated nerves in the neck or back. We also help people with coordination or movement difficulties following injury, overuse, or stress on the neurologic system.
Every treatment plan is personalized and may include balance training, strength and mobility exercises, vestibular (inner ear) rehab, posture work, and exercises that help retrain the brain and body to work together. Our goal is to help you move better, feel stronger, and get back to your daily life with confidence.
