With over 40 years of experience in orthopedics and manual therapy, Mari is the founder and director of Tokyo Rehabilitation, where her mission is to provide patients with a truly healing environment — one that is highly professional, delivering exceptional quality of care, while also being beautiful, safe, and uplifting. She believes that when patients feel happy, supported, and motivated, the healing process becomes even more powerful.

Mari specializes in fast, gentle, and effective methods designed to achieve lasting outcomes. Her treatment philosophy combines evidence-based practice with an intuitive understanding of the body’s natural healing abilities.

For the past 20 years, Mari has also focused on pelvic health, offering compassionate, individualized care for all genders in a safe and supportive environment.

Beyond the clinic, Mari finds inspiration in life’s simple joys — tropical islands, sunsets, fostering kittens, and boxing. These passions reflect her belief that strength, balance, and kindness all play a part in healing.

Saori Kawaguchi is a skilled massage therapist specializing in deep tissue, prenatal, aromatherapy, and hot stone massage. Her practice blends technical precision with a gentle, mindful approach, helping clients reconnect with the natural wisdom and beauty of their bodies.

As a dedicated mother of an elementary school child, Saori brings warmth, empathy, and a deep sense of care to her work. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys surfing and draws inspiration from the calm rhythm of the ocean.

Through her sessions, Saori invites each client to slow down, listen inward, and nurture their body with balance, awareness, and respect.

Juhi Daryanani, DPT Juhi Daryanani received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and has been practicing for seven years across a wide range of patient populations. In recent years, she has developed a clinical specialty in women’s health, including pregnancy, postpartum care, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Her treatment style is holistic, compassionate, and education- focused—empowering patients to understand their bodies and feel confident in their recovery.

Patients appreciate Juhi’s clinical expertise, warmth, and genuinely caring nature. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling, reading, and practicing yoga.

Brianne Landholt, PT

Physical Therapist — Sports Injuries, Pain Management, and Post-Operative Rehabilitation

Brianne Landholt is a licensed Physical Therapist with over 10 years of experience specializing in sports injuries, pain management, and post-operative rehabilitation. Before joining Tokyo Rehabilitation, she practiced in North Carolina and Florida, where she primarily worked with active-duty Marines, student athletes, and geriatric patients—helping them recover from injuries and surgeries to return to their optimal level of function. Brianne is passionate about engaging with each patient to create a positive therapeutic experience while fostering long-lasting behavioral changes that support sustained wellness. Outside of the clinic, Brianne enjoys life in Okinawa with her husband, a U.S. Marine, and their four children—two boys attending DoDEA schools and two girls attending a local Japanese Yochien in Ishikawa. In their free time, the family loves baking, snorkeling, hiking, and exploring all that Okinawa has to offer.

Catie has been practicing since 2018. Her experience spans a wide range of specialties including orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, lymphedema, and pelvic health. Catie is passionate about helping her patients understand their bodies and the underlying causes of their symptoms, empowering them through education and movement.

Outside of the clinic, Catie enjoys playing music, crafting, trying new foods, and adventuring with her husband and friends. Her approachable nature and enthusiasm for learning make her a valued member of the Tokyo Rehabilitation team.

At Tokyo Rehabilitation, Hiromi specializes in Microcurrent Massage, combining gentle electrical stimulation with refined all-hand techniques to awaken deep cellular activity, promote natural healing, and release muscle tension. Her treatments enhance circulation, relaxation, and balance—helping clients feel renewed in both body and mind.

With an extensive professional background, Hiromi brings over 40 years of multidisciplinary experience:

  • 11 years in early childhood education and kindergarten teaching
  • 14 years in mental health care (rehabilitation facilities, outpatient, and inpatient settings)
  • 15 years as an esthetic salon owner and therapist

Brianna Borgzinner

Pilates Instructor

Brianna is a certified Pilates Instructor with five years of teaching experience. She discovered her passion for Pilates in early 2020 and made the decision to turn that passion into a career.

Brianna has completed intensive training in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair, Ladder Barrel, TRX, and specialized courses focused on special populations and injury rehabilitation. She holds multiple continuing education certifications in pre/postnatal Pilates and pelvic floor health, reflecting her commitment to supporting clients through every stage of life and recovery.

Following her personal diagnosis with Endometriosis, Brianna became even more passionate about the therapeutic potential of Pilates. She strongly believes in the power of core strengthening, mindful movement, and breathwork to create lasting improvements in both physical and emotional well-being. Whether working with patients, beginners, or advanced clients, Brianna brings knowledge, empathy, and a deep dedication to helping others experience the transformative benefits of Pilates.

When Brianna is not teaching or practicing Pilates, she can be found taking care of her two dogs Toast and Teito, traveling around the world, reading a lengthy novel, or oil painting in her spare time.

Monica Lim - Team Member

Monica Lim

Physical Therapist | DPT

Monica received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Florida. She completed a neurological residency in 2019 and is an APTA board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist. She is also an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and has assisted in teaching at the University of North Florida’s physical therapy program. She has worked in a variety of settings including the hospital, research, rehabilitation facilities, and outpatient clinics. Monica is passionate about helping others achieve their movement goals so they can perform the activities that are meaningful to their lives. 

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, eating delicious and new foods, reading, and music.
